Mario Party

My son wanted a Super Mario Bros. party for his 7th birthday...

Here is my 7 year old with his Grandpa...with their Luigi hats on!  (mustaches were purchased at Party City for .25 cents each)

Super Mario Bros. Cupcake Stand...cupcakes from Sams, "Cricut" red/green circles with circle sticker labels on them, and "Cricut" cutout letters.  The Mario/Luigi on the top were cut out of the Fruit Snack box!

The kids all went "Mario Kart" racing...Super Mario shirt purchased at Walmart!

Close-up picture of the cupcake stand...
Simple to make:  Cut out 3 cardboard circles for each "layer" (I used 3 different sized plates for the template).  Hot glue the 3 cardboard circles together to make a thick layer.  Cover with scrapbook paper (and cut strip for around the edge of each layer).  The green divider is an empty beef jerkey container covered with green scrapbook paper.  All layers hot glued together!
Mario and Luigi party hats (made out of poster board and "Cricut" cut-out letters)

Goodie Bags...I made "Toad" toppers (oval, square, circles), Mario Klik Dispensers purchased at Party City, Mario Fruit Snacks purchased at grocery store, Gold Coin, Candy Bar with Wrapper printed on computer, and Yoshi Eggs (easter eggs with small sticker dots...they had mario gummies inside)
